Could you mimic a cabin with the materials found within Rwanda? Would a dense enclosed cabin be fit for the climate?
My client being from Canada was in love with the forested cabins that he had stayed in. The project’s budget, location, and available natural materials were the criteria considered when trying to mimic the rustic feel of a traditional cabin. Located on top of hill that could only be reached by hiking a mile or two, the structure had to be constructed by minimal machinery and mostly by human hands, and so it is designed with specific detailing that could make this possible.
